PATRICK DAVIDSON
Director of Pharmaceutical Development + Project Management, Geneairx
Patrick Davidson is a pharmaceutical development professional with over a decade of experience in analytical chemistry, formulation and pharmaceutical science, and project management within the sterile and non-sterile generic drug development space, with a particular focus on injectable and ophthalmic drug development. He currently serves as Director of Pharmaceutical Development and Project Management at Genairx, an AI-powered pharmaceutical start-up, where he oversees formulation strategy, lab operations and integrated pharmaceutical development planning.
Patrick began his career in analytical chemistry, building a strong foundation as an Analytical Chemist at Sandoz Canada. There, he supported method development, stability protocols and regulatory submission work for nearly five years. He further refined his formulation expertise as a Formulation and Process Specialist at Avara Pharmaceutical Services, before taking on progressive roles in formulations and pharmaceutical development at Omega Laboratories (Juno Pharmaceuticals). Ultimately, he served as Project Manager, leading Canadian and global manufacturing transfer initiatives, internal Q1/Q2 equivalent generic drug development programs, and international in- and out-licensing deals.
Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a Minor in Management from McGill University, where he worked under the mentorship of Dr. Jan Hamier in the Analytical Chemistry labs. He later completed a graduate certificate in Business Administration and Management at Concordia University, complementing his technical expertise with strategic and operational capabilities.
He is recognized for his adaptable approach and cross-disciplinary insight in the ever-evolving global pharmaceutical industry.
