ALLIE huerta
Founder + CEO, Aim Colours
Dr. Huerta completed her Ph.D. in 2021, focusing on sustainable methodologies for bio-renewable resources as alternatives to petroleum, under the supervision of Prof. C.J. Li.
During her studies, she also completed the MBA certificate program at the McGill Executive Institute, supported by the Clark-SELF Leadership Scholarship. Her ability to bridge science and innovation was recognized when she placed third in the 2020 Dobson Cup innovation stream, which led to the creation of Aim Colours, where she now serves as CEO.
Aim Colours develops wearable technology that changes color in real time via a mobile app—enabling users to express their individuality and follow trends through customizable, reusable 3D surfaces. By consolidating multiple styles into a single programmable product, Aim Colours offers a scalable and sustainable alternative to overproduction in fashion. Its battery-free wearables empower consumers and help brands reduce waste—making real-time mass customization a reality.
